Teaser Tuesdays (38)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Miz B at Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

My teaser:

"Well, no more. It was time to fight."

  9. The title doesn't sound very appealing. Is it a zombie book? Sounds like the character has finally had enough!
My Teaser is from A COLLIE RESCUE.

    1. Nope, no zombies in this one. The title is more about dealing with loss than being surrounded by dead people. Thanks for stopping by Sandy!

  10. Hi Claire,

It sounds as though 'enough is enough' and it's time to sort something out!

Whilst I loved your lines, the book title and cover; once I checked things out a bit further, I have to say that this probably isn't my kind of book, although I see it has received some great reviews.

I have to admit that I have never read anything with a paranormal, supernatural twist, or including werewolves, so I should probably try a book before making a decision!

There are just so many great books and authors out there, that I know I would enjoy, that I am never likely to try anything too new and unknown!

I hope that you enjoy the book and thanks for sharing the lines.

    1. Thanks for commenting Yvonne! I really enjoyed this, but I totally agree with you about sticking with genres you know you enjoy. There are so many awesome books published it'd be impossible to keep up if you read every genre. I'm a big fan of paranormal books so I read a lot of those.
